A MCP server that offers web search functionality, utilizing the Perplexity API and automatically selecting models based on query intent.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v14 or higher)
• Perplexity API key (Get it from: https://perplexity.ai/api-keys)
• Claude desktop application

📦 Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/your-repository.git
   

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

3. Build the server:

   npm run build
   

Configuration

Add the following content to Claude's configuration file:

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

1. Start the server.
2. Conduct searches via Claude:
   • Example query: “search Wikipedia for quantum computing”

Model Selection Control

• Automatic mode: Let the server select the model based on the context.
• Manual mode: Specify a specific model, such as sonar-deep-reasoning.

Development

To modify the server:

1. Edit src/index.ts
2. Rebuild the server
3. Restart Claude to load the updates
