The Geekbot MCP server simplifies the process of integrating Geekbot data with LLM applications. First, install the server using pip, then initialize and start the service. For developers, you can clone the repository, install dependencies, and run tests.

1. Stand - up Member List Tool

Purpose: List all team members in your Geekbot workspace.

Return Parameters:

• id (string): The unique identifier of the member.
• name (string): The full name of the member.
• email (string): The email address of the member.
• role (string): The role of the member in Geekbot (e.g., administrator, regular member).

2. Stand - up Report List Tool

Purpose: Get all report contents of a specified stand - up.

Parameters:

• standup_id (string): The ID of the stand - up for which to get reports.
• before (date string, optional): Filter reports before the specified date (in YYYY - MM - DD format).
• after (date string, optional): Filter reports after the specified date (in YYYY - MM - DD format).

Return Parameters:

• id (string): The unique identifier of the report.
• reporter_name (string): The name of the member who submitted the report.
• reporter_id (string): The ID of the member who submitted the report.
• standup_id (string): The ID of the associated stand - up.
• created_at (datetime string): The timestamp when the report was created.
• content (string): The specific answers or content in the report.

3. Stand - up Weekly Report Generation Tool

Purpose: Generate a weekly report based on the data of a specified stand - up, including team updates, risks and mitigation strategies, next steps, and upcoming features.

Parameters:

• standup_id (string): The ID of the stand - up for which to generate the weekly report.

Example Prompt: "Please list all team members in my Geekbot workspace."

📦 Installation

Install using pip

pip install geekbot-mcp

Configuration

Initialize the MCP service

geekbot-mcp init

Start the MCP server

geekbot-mcp serve
