📦 Installation

Download the Code

1. Clone this repository to your local machine.
2. Open a terminal and navigate to the project directory.

Build

Run the following command to build the TypeScript code:

npm run build

Run

• Development Mode (with auto - watch):

  npm run dev
  

• Production Mode:

  npm start

Environment Variables

Functionality

Get Home Timeline Tweets

Retrieve the latest tweets from the users you follow.

Parameters:

• limit (optional): The number of tweets to retrieve. Default is 20, maximum is 100.

Example:

Post a New Tweet

Publish a new tweet.

Parameters:

• text (required): The content of the tweet, up to 280 characters.

Reply to a Tweet

Reply to a specified tweet.

Parameters:

• tweet_id (required): The ID of the tweet to reply to.

Rate Limit Handling

The server has built - in rate limit functionality for Twitter's free tier:

• Monthly Limits:
  • User - level: Maximum 500 posting operations per month.
  • Application - level: Maximum 500 posting operations per month.
  • Read Operations: Maximum 100 per month.
• Features:
  • Track monthly usage.
  • Provide exponential backoff for rate limit errors.
  • Display clear error messages when limits are reached.
  • Automatically retry until the rate limit window expires.
