📦 Installation

Using npm

Execute the following commands in the terminal to install and build:

npm install
npm run build

After completion, start the service:

npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector node build/index.js

Open your browser and access the MCP Inspector link displayed in the console.

Running the Build File Directly (Optional)

If you have completed the build steps, you can run it directly:

npm run build

💻 Usage Examples

Using in GitHub Copilot

1. Open the Insider version of VS Code.
2. Enable Agent mode (not Ask or Edits).
3. Click the refresh button on the right side of the input box to update the list of available tools.
4. Enter a question, for example:

List 10 Marvel characters.

In which comics does Wolverine appear?

Give me some information about the villain characters.

Which characters appear in the Avengers comics?

Which characters are in the comic 'Hedge Knight II: Sworn Sword (2007)'?

List 10 characters from the Ant - Man comics.

📦 Optional Tool Installation

Install using Smithery CLI:

🔧 Environment Variable Configuration

Please replace the following information with your Marvel API keys:

• MARVEL_PUBLIC_KEY: Public access key.
• MARVEL_PRIVATE_KEY: Private access key.

These keys can be obtained from the Marvel API official website.
