Basic Usage

Run the Server

npm start

Use with Claude Desktop

1. Install Claude Desktop.
2. Open your Claude Desktop configuration file:
   • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
   • Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
3. Add the following configuration:

4. Restart Claude Desktop.

Use with Smithery

You can also use this MCP server through Smithery, which allows you to easily share and use MCP servers:

get-daily-news

Fetch the latest news articles published by The Verge in the past 24 hours. Example query: "What are today's The Verge news?"

get-weekly-news

Fetch news articles published by The Verge in the past 7 days. Example query: "Show The Verge news from the past week." Note: This tool randomly selects 10 news articles from the past week and provides different content each time it is used.

search-news

Search for news articles containing specific keywords. Parameters:

• keyword: The term to search for.
• days (optional): The number of days to look back (default: 30). Example query: "Find The Verge news articles about AI."
