Gmail Tools

• list_emails: List recent emails in the inbox with optional filtering.
• search_emails: Advanced email search using Gmail query syntax.
• send_email: Send new emails, supporting CC and BCC.
• modify_email: Modify email labels (archive, delete, mark as read/unread).

Calendar Tools

• list_events: List upcoming calendar events with date range filtering.
• create_event: Create new calendar events and add participants.
• update_event: Update existing calendar events.
• delete_event: Delete calendar events.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

1. Node.js: Install Node.js version 14 or higher.
2. Google Cloud Console Setup:
   • Visit Google Cloud Console.
   • Create a new project or select an existing one.
   • Enable the Gmail API and Google Calendar API:
     1. Go to "APIs & Services" > "Library".
     2. Search for and enable "Gmail API".
     3. Search for and enable "Google Calendar API".
   • Set up an OAuth 2.0 client ID:
     1. Go to Google Cloud Console.
     2. Select your project.
     3. Go to "APIs & Services" > "OAuth 2.0 Client IDs".
     4. Add a new OAuth 2.0 client ID, specifying a name and allowed redirect URIs (e.g., http://localhost:3000).

Setup Steps

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/your-username/google-workspace-mcp.git
   cd google-workspace-mcp
   

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

3. Configure environment variables:

   • Create a .env file (if it doesn't exist).
   • Add the following content, replacing YOUR_CLIENT_ID and YOUR_CLIENT_SECRET with the values obtained from the Google Cloud Console:

     CLIENT_ID=your_client_id
     CLIENT_SECRET=your_client_secret
     REDIRECT_URI=http://localhost:3000
     

4. Run the server:

   npm start
