🚀 Replicate MCP Server

An implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Replicate. Run Replicate models through a simple tool-based interface.

🚀 Quick Start

1. Install the server:

npm install -g mcp-replicate

2. Obtain your Replicate API token:

   • Go to the Replicate API tokens page.
   • Create a new token if you don't have one.
   • Copy the token for the next step.

3. Configure the Claude desktop app:

   • Open the Claude desktop settings (⌘,).
   • Select the "Developer" section in the sidebar.
   • Click "Edit Configuration" to open the configuration file.
   • Add the following configuration, replacing your_token_here with your actual Replicate API token:

4. Launch the Claude desktop app. You should see a 🔨 hammer icon in the bottom-right corner of the new chat window, indicating that the tool is available.

(You can also use any other MCP client, such as Cursor, Cline, or Continue.)

Model

• Find models using semantic search.

🔧 Configuration

The server requires a Replicate API token to function properly. You can obtain one at Replicate.

There are two ways to provide the token:

1. Configure in the Claude desktop app (recommended)

Add it to your Claude desktop app configuration as shown in the Quick Start section:

2. As an environment variable

Alternatively, if you are using other MCP clients, you can set it as an environment variable:

🛠️ Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, check the following:

1. Ensure you have correctly set the REPLICATE_API_TOKEN.
2. Ensure you have a stable internet connection to communicate with the Replicate service.
3. Check the console output for more error information.
