🚀 Webflow MCP Server

This MCP server enables Claude to interact with the Webflow API.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v16 or higher)
• Claude desktop application
• Webflow account
• Webflow API token (site token or OAuth access token)

Installation Guide

1. Create a Webflow API Token

• Log in to your Webflow account.
• Navigate to Site Settings > Apps & Integrations.
• Generate a new API token.
• Copy the token value (you won't be able to see it again).

Alternatively, you can generate an OAuth access token.

2. Initial Project Setup

Install the dependencies:

npm install

3. Configure Environment Variables

Create a .env file for local development (do not commit this file):

WEBFLOW_API_TOKEN=your-api-token

4. Configure Claude Desktop

Open your Claude desktop configuration file:

For MacOS:

code ~/Library/Application\ Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

For Windows:

code %AppData%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

Add or update the following configuration:

Save the file and restart the Claude desktop.

Installation via Smithery

To automatically install the Webflow MCP server via Smithery:

💻 Usage Examples

Available Tools

The current server provides the following tools:

get_sites

Retrieve a list of all Webflow sites associated with the authenticated user. Returns detailed information, including:

• Site display name and short name
• Site ID and workspace ID
• Creation, last update, and last publish dates
• Preview URL
• Timezone settings
• Custom domain configuration
• Internationalization settings (primary and secondary regions)
• Data collection preferences

get_site

Retrieve detailed information about a specific Webflow site by ID. Requires the siteId parameter and returns relevant information.

• Keep your API token secure.
• Do not commit credentials to version control.
