An intelligent MCP server that provides tools for code analysis, code collection, and document generation using the OpenAI API.

🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

Don't worry if you haven't installed anything! Just follow the steps below or ask your assistant to help you with the installation.

Step 1: Install Node.js

• macOS:
  1. If you haven't installed Homebrew yet, use the following command to install it:

  /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)"
  

  2. Install Node.js:

  brew install node
  

• Windows:
  1. Download and install the LTS version of Node.js including npm from the Node.js download page.
  2. After the installation is complete, verify the versions:

  node -v
  npm -v
  

• Linux: Install using the appropriate package manager according to your distribution:
  • Debian/Ubuntu:

    sudo apt update && sudo apt install nodejs npm
    

  • Fedora:

    sudo dnf install nodejs npm
    

  • Arch-based:

    sudo pacman -S nodejs npm
    

Step 2: Install uv and uvx

Install using npm:

npm install -g uv uvx

Step 3: Configure the MCP Server

1. Open the terminal and run the following command to create a configuration file:

uv init

2. Follow the prompts to complete the initialization settings.

⚙️ Configuration

Edit your MCP settings file (usually located at ~/.config/line/[profile name]/mcp.json) and add the following content:

Base Servers

• analyze_code: Analyze code using the OpenAI API and provide detailed feedback.
• collect_code: Collect all code in a specified directory into a Markdown file.
• install_base_servers: Install and manage base servers.

💻 Usage Examples

analyze_code

Analyze code and generate improvement suggestions.

Parameters:

• codePath (required): The path to the code file or directory to be analyzed.

Example Usage:

This tool will:

1. Analyze your code using the OpenAI API.
2. Generate detailed feedback including:

• Problems and suggestions
• Best practice violations
• Impact analysis
• Fix steps

collect_code

Collect all code from a directory into a Markdown file with syntax highlighting and navigation.

Parameters:

• directory (required): The path to the directory from which to collect code.
• outputPath (optional): The path to save the output file.
• ignorePatterns (optional): An array of ignore patterns similar to .gitignore.

Example Usage:

install_base_servers

Install base servers into your configuration file.
