📦 Installation

Install via Smithery

Use Smithery to automatically install the Windows Command Line MCP Server for Claude Desktop:

Prerequisites

• Node.js 16 or higher
• npm or yarn
• Windows operating system

Setup

npm install
npm run build

💻 Usage Examples

Command - Line Options

• Default mode: Use predefined secure commands
• --allow-all: Run in extended mode (with additional precautions)
• Customizable command list can be specified as parameters

Project Creation

Securely create new projects with built - in project creation tool support:

• Supported project types: React, Node.js, Python
• Projects are created in the sandbox - protected %USERPROFILE%\Documents\wcl-mcp-server\projects directory

Available Tools

1. System Information Query
   • Retrieve detailed system information, including hardware and software configurations.
2. Network Information Retrieval
   • List the status, IP addresses, and connection information of all network interfaces.
3. Process Management
   • View currently running processes and support terminating specified processes.
4. Service Management
   • List all running services and their detailed statuses, and support stopping specific services.

Integration with Claude for Desktop

To use the server in Claude Desktop, add the following to the config.json file:

Security Considerations

• Allowed Operations: Execute predefined commands, create and manage projects, query system and network information.
• Prohibited Operations: Direct access to the file system, execution of arbitrary code, or other high - risk operations.
