🚀 mcp-serverman: An MCP Server Configuration Manager

mcp-serverman is a command-line tool designed to manage the configuration of Claude MCP servers. It supports version control and configuration file analysis. Additionally, it comes with a companion MCP server that can automatically configure LLMs.

⚠️ Important Note

I strongly recommend manually backing up your MCP configuration files before making any changes. Although I've attempted to implement error handling in the code, it's not foolproof.

📦 Installation

You can install mcp-serverman via pip:

pip install mcp-serverman

Or, install the latest debug version from GitHub:

pip install git+https://github.com/benhaotang/mcp-serverman.git

It should work on Windows, Linux (tested), and MacOS. If you encounter path issues, please submit a problem.

🔧 Configuration Management

Initialize a client: Use mcp-serverman client init to create a default configuration file.

To install the development version, run:
