A Windows control server for the Model Context Protocol, supporting programmatic control of system operations, including mouse, keyboard, window management, and screen capture functions.

Installation

1. Install dependencies:

   npm install mcp-control
   

2. Create a configuration file (e.g., config.json):

3. Run the server:

📚 Documentation

Known Limitations

• Minimizing/restoring windows is not currently supported.
• Some screen functions may not work properly due to different environmental configurations.
• The get_screenshot tool is incompatible with the VS Code extension Cline. See GitHub Issue #1865 for details.
• Some operations may require elevated permissions, depending on the target application.
• Currently, only the Windows system is supported.
• Using Ctrl key combinations (e.g., Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V) may cause the server to crash due to stdio handling issues. This problem will be resolved in the upcoming release with the new streaming HTTP transport protocol of the MCP specification. See GitHub Issue #120 for details.
