🚀 Twitter MCP

A middleware (MCP) for interacting with the Twitter API, designed to simplify the process of integrating and managing Twitter features. This server offers a range of tools for performing common Twitter operations, such as sending tweets, retrieving tweet information, and handling user interactions.

🚀 Quick Start

Project Setup

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/your-repository.git

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Configure environment variables: Create a .env file and add the following content. Replace your-twitter-api-key etc. with your actual Twitter API credentials:

TWITTER_API_KEY=your-twitter-api-key
TWITTER_API_SECRET_KEY=your_twitter_api_secret_key
TWITTER_ACCESS_TOKEN=your_twitter_access_token
TWITTER_ACCESS_TOKEN_SECRET=your_twitter_access_token_secret

4. Start the server:

npm start

• User Interactions: Follow/unfollow users, manage the follower list.

💻 Usage Examples

Tweet Operations

• Send a Tweet (postTweet):

POST /api/tweet/post

}

Returns: Tweet ID.

• Delete a Tweet (deleteTweet):

DELETE /api/tweet/{tweetId}

Returns: Confirmation of successful deletion.

Search and Analysis

• Search for Tweets (searchTweets):

GET /api/search?q=Query term&count=Number of results

Returns: A list of matching tweets.

• Get User Information (getUserInfo):

GET /api/user/{username}

Returns: User profile details, including bio, follower count, etc.

User Interactions

• Follow a User (followUser):

POST /api/follow/{username}

Returns: Confirmation of following.

• Unfollow a User (unfollowUser):

DELETE /api/follow/{username}

Returns: Confirmation of unfollowing.

List Management

• Create a List (createList):

POST /api/list/create
