Block Operations

• logseq_insert_block - Create a new block in Logseq Parameters:

  • parent_block (string): UUID of the parent block or page name
  • content (string, required): Block content
  • is_page_block (boolean): Create as a page-level block
  • before (boolean): Insert before the parent block
  • custom_uuid (string): Custom UUIDv4

• logseq_edit_block - Enter block editing mode Parameters:

  • src_block (string, required): Block UUID
  • pos (number): Cursor position

• logseq_exit_editing_mode - Exit editing mode Parameters:

  • select_block (boolean): Keep the block selected

Page Operations

• logseq_create_page - Create a new page Parameters:

  • page_name (string, required): Page name
  • properties (object): Page properties
  • journal (boolean): Set as a journal page
  • format (string): Page format (Markdown/org)

• logseq_get_page - Get page details Parameters:

  • src_page (string, required): Page identifier
  • include_children (boolean): Include child blocks

• logseq_get_all_pages - List all pages Parameters:

  • repo (string): Repository name

Create a new block in Logseq Parameters:

• parent_block: Reference to the parent block (page name or UUID)
• content: Block content
• is_page_block: Set to true to indicate a page-level block

logseq_create_page

Create a new page Parameters:

• page_name (string, required): Name of the new page
• properties (optional): Page properties, e.g., { "property1": "value1", "property2": "value2" }
• journal (optional): Set to true to indicate a journal page

📦 Installation

Install Dependencies

Make sure the following tools are installed:

pip install --user mcpy uvx

Create MCP Server Configuration File

Create a mcp-server-logseq.json file in the project root directory with the following content:

Start the MCP Server

Run the following command to start the Logseq MCP server:

uvx run mcp-server-logseq --config=mcp-server-logseq.json
