🚀 MCP Dust Server Configuration Guide

The MCP Dust Server serves as a bridge for communication with the Dust Agent. By configuring the MCP Server, you can integrate the Dust Agent into various development environments and leverage its powerful capabilities.

🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

Create the .env file

Create a .env file in the root directory of the project and fill in the following content:

MCP_PORT=5001
MCP_MIN_PORT=5001
MCP_MAX_PORT=5001
DUST_API_KEY=your_api_key_here
DUST_WORKSPACE_ID=your_workspace_id_here
DUST_AGENT_ID=your_agent_id_here

Replace your_api_key_here, your_workspace_id_here, and your_agent_id_here with your actual API key and agent information.

Install dependencies

Run the following command in the project directory to install all dependencies:

npm install

Start the server and client

Start both the server and the client simultaneously

npm run start

Start only the MCP server

npm run start:server

Start only the test client

npm run start:client

Expected Output

If configured correctly, you should see the following output:

For the MCP server:

MCP Server is running at http://127.0.0.1:5001 (Timeout: 30s)
Server Name: Dust MCP Bridge
Dust Workspace: your_workspace_id
Dust Agent: your_agent_id

For the test client:

MCP Test Client is running at http://127.0.0.1:6001

Integration Guide

Integration with Windsurf IDE

Add the following configuration to the settings.json file:
