Install via Smithery

To automatically install twotruthsandatwist for Claude Desktop via Smithery:

System Requirements

• Python 3.13 or higher
• A large language model supporting MCP (e.g., Claude 3)

You can install the game directly from PyPI:

pip install ttaat

Or use the uv command:

uv pip install ttaat

💻 Usage Examples

Initialize the Database

First, initialize the game database:

ttaat db upgrade

Start the Game Server

To start the MCP server:

ttaat serve

This will start the Two Truths and a Twist MCP server, allowing large language models to connect and participate in the game.

View Game Statistics

View the game statistics:

🚀 Connect to the Server

To connect an MCP - compatible large language model to the game server, you need to configure the MCP connection. Create a configuration file (e.g., claude_desktop_config.json) with the following content:

🎮 Game Mechanics

Two Truths and a Twist is a puzzle game with the following rules:

1. The AI creates a themed round containing three statements about the same topic - two truths and a "twist" (an interesting and false statement).
2. The player tries to identify which statement is the twist.
3. The AI reveals the answer and provides an interesting explanation.

This game uses the MCP protocol to offer users an interesting and highly interactive knowledge - quiz experience, where the AI model not only generates content but also manages the game execution.
