This project enables access to Steam game reviews and related information through the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Assist LLMs in obtaining game reviews and information:

• Retrieve game reviews (number of positive/negative reviews, ratings, review content, etc.)
• Obtain basic game information (name, detailed description)
• Analyze game reviews and summarize the pros and cons

Run directly:

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

This MCP service provides the get_steam_review tool to obtain reviews and game information by passing the Steam game appid.

For more detailed information, please refer to the Steamworks API: User Reviews - Get List

The returned data consists of two parts:

1. game_reviews:

   • success: Whether the query was successful
   • review_score: Rating
   • review_score_desc: Rating description
   • total_positive: Total number of positive reviews
   • total_negative: Total number of negative reviews
   • reviews: All review text content (excluding other metadata)

2. game_info:

   • name: Game name
   • detailed_description: Detailed game description

Advanced Usage

summarize-reviews

Used for overall game review analysis to summarize the pros and cons of the game.

Parameters

• appid (required): Steam game ID, e.g., 570 (DOTA 2)

recent-reviews-analysis

Used to analyze recent game reviews and summarize the current game status and player feedback.

Parameters

• appid (required): Steam game ID, e.g., 570 (DOTA 2)
