🚀 Quick Start

This application is an MCP server that enables seamless message - sending to WeCom group robots. It supports multiple message formats and provides straightforward installation and configuration processes.

📦 Installation

Install via Smithery

Automatically install mcp-wecombot-server for Claude Desktop using Smithery:

npx -y @smithery/cli install @gotoolkits/mcp-wecombot-server --client claude-desktop

Manual Installation

# Clone the repository and build
$ git clone https://github.com/gotoolkits/mcp-wecombot-server.git
$ cd mcp-wecombot-server && make build
$ sudo ln -s $PWD/dist/mcp-wecombot-server_xxx_xxxx /usr/local/bin/mcp-wecombot-server

# Note: Replace "$PWD/dist/mcp-wecombot-server_xxx_xxxx" with the actual binary file name.

# You can also download and use the pre - compiled release package.

Feature Usage Instructions

• send_text Send a text message to the WeCom group.

• send_markdown Send a Markdown - formatted message to the WeCom group.

• send_image Send an image message to the WeCom group.

• send_news Send a news message to the WeCom group, including title, description, link, and image address.

• send_template_card Send a template card message to the WeCom group.

• upload_file Upload a file to the WeCom server.

WECOM_BOT_WEBHOOK_KEY is the unique identifier of your WeCom robot Webhook.
For example:
