🚀 Google Drive Server

This MCP server integrates with Google Drive, enabling file listing, reading, and searching, as well as reading and writing to Google Sheets.

Tools

• gdrive_search

  • Description: Search for files in Google Drive.
  • Input:
    • query (string): The search query.
    • pageToken (string, optional): Token for the next page of results.
    • pageSize (number, optional): Number of results per page (max 100).
  • Output: Returns the names and MIME types of matching files.

• gdrive_read_file

  • Description: Read the content of a file from Google Drive.
  • Input:
    • fileId (string): The ID of the file to read.
  • Output: Returns the content of the specified file.

• gsheets_read

  • Description: Read data from a Google Sheet with flexible range and formatting options.
  • Input:
    • spreadsheetId (string): The ID of the spreadsheet to read.
    • ranges (array of strings, optional): Optional array of A1 - formatted ranges (e.g., [ 'Sheet1!A1:B10' ]). If not provided, the entire spreadsheet is read.
    • sheetId (number, optional): The ID of the specific worksheet to read. If not provided and no range is specified, the first worksheet is read.
  • Output: Returns the specified data.

• gsheets_update_cell

  • Description: Update the value of a cell in a Google Sheet.
  • Input:
    • fileId (string): The ID of the spreadsheet.
    • range (string): The cell range in A1 format (e.g., 'Sheet1!A1').
    • value (string): The new cell value.
  • Output: Confirms that the specified cell has been updated.

Resources

This server provides access to Google Drive files:

• Files (gdrive:///<file_id>)
  • Supports all file types.
  • Instructions for handling different file types, such as text and images.

🚀 Quick Start

1. Create a project: Create a new project in the Google Cloud Console.
2. Enable APIs: Enable the Google Drive API and other necessary APIs.
3. Create an OAuth app: Configure OAuth to obtain user authorization.
4. Set environment variables: Configure the CLIENT_ID, CLIENT_SECRET, and GDRIVE_CREDENTIALS_DIR environment variables.
5. Run the command: Start the server with the specified command - line arguments.
