code-scanner-server is a tool for scanning and analyzing source code, supporting multiple programming languages. It offers two operating modes: Command Line Interface (CLI) mode and MCP server mode.

• Filtering Function: Filter results based on name patterns, modifiers, and paths.
• Formatted Output: Support output in XML, JSON, and other text formats.

📦 Installation

1. Ensure Node.js and npm are installed.
2. Clone the code repository (optional):

   git clone <repository_url>
   cd code-scanner-server
   

3. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

4. Compile the project:

   npm run build
   

   This will generate the executable file build/index.js.

Configuration (MCP Server Mode)

To use the MCP server mode, add the following content to your MCP client configuration file:

Development

• Watch Mode: Automatically rebuild when the code changes:

  npm run watch
  

• Debugging (MCP Mode): Use the Node.js debugging tool for debugging:

  npm run inspector
