📦 Installation

1. Install dependencies:

npm install

2. Set your GitHub token as an environment variable:

export GITHUB_TOKEN=your_github_personal_access_token

3. Build the server:

npm run build

Integration with Claude:

Update the Claude desktop configuration file, for example: code ~/Library/Application\ Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Include the full path where this repository is cloned:

💻 Usage Examples

find-similar-issues

Search for GitHub issues similar to the given description.

Parameters:

• owner: The name of the GitHub repository owner or organization.
• repo: The name of the GitHub repository.
• issueDescription: The description used to find similar issues.
• maxResults: The maximum number of similar issues to return (Default: 5).

🔧 Technical Details

This implementation uses the simple Jaccard similarity coefficient to compare texts. In a production environment, it is recommended to use more sophisticated NLP techniques for better matching results.
