Tools

This server implements the following tools:

• vikingdb-colleciton-intro: Introduce the collections in VikingDB.
• vikingdb-index-intro: Introduce the indexes in VikingDB.
• vikingdb-upsert-information: Insert information into VikingDB for later use.
• vikingdb-search-information: Search for information in VikingDB.

Configuration

• vikingdb_host: The address of the VikingDB server to use.
• vikingdb_region: The region to use.
• vikingdb_ak: The access key to use.
• vikingdb_sk: The secret key to use.
• collection_name: The name of the collection to use.
• index_name: The name of the index to use.

Installation

Install via Smithery

To automatically install the VikingDB MCP server for Claude Desktop via Smithery:

npx -y @smithery/cli install mcp-server-vikingdb --client claude

🔧 Development

Build and Release

To prepare the distribution package:

1. Synchronize dependencies and update the lock file:

uv sync

2. Build and publish:

uv build && uv publish

We recommend using the MCP Inspector tool. Here are some example commands:
