🚀 Weather Information Retrieval Example Using Gaode Maps API

This is an example of using Gaode Maps' weather API to fetch current city weather information.

🚀 Quick Start

Please follow these steps:

1. Register a Gaode Developer Account: Visit Gaode Open Platform and register a developer account.
2. Apply for an API Key: After logging in, go to "My Applications", create a new application, and obtain your API Key in the "Application Details".
3. Configure the MCP Server:
   • Add a service named gaodeweather in the MCP configuration file, specify its command as uvx and pass the argument mcp-gaodeweather-server.
   • Set the environment variable GAODE_KEY to your Gaode API Key.
4. Start the Service: Start the configured MCP server via Claude Desktop.

Installation via Smithery

To automatically install mcp-gaodeweather-server to Claude Desktop through Smithery:

Notes:

• Replace your_apikey_here with your Gaode API Key.
• The installation command will automatically configure and start the service in Claude Desktop.
