🚀 Google Patents MCP Server

Google Patents MCP Server is a tool for querying and analyzing patent data. It enables searching in the .patent database by invoking the search patents command. The service supports various advanced filters, such as filtering by inventor, assignee, country, and region.

🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

npm install -g google-patents-server

⚙️ Configuration

Create a file named .env and add the following content:

SERPAPI_API_KEY=Your SerpApi Key
PORT=8080
LOG_LEVEL=info

💻 Usage

Start the server:

npm start

Send a query request:

🔧 Technical Details

Logging

• Output to the standard error stream
• Support for setting the log level (error, warn, info, http, verbose, debug, silly), with the default being info
• Attempt to create a log file in the project root directory, user home directory, or /tmp directory
