A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI assistants to interact with Android devices via Android Debug Bridge (ADB). This server bridges AI capabilities with Android device management, enabling seamless automation of Android development and testing operations.

Configuration Location

• Claude Desktop: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json (macOS)
• Cline/Roo Code: ~/Library/Application Support/Code/User/globalStorage/rooveterinaryinc.roo-cline/settings/cline_mcp_settings.json (macOS)
• For Windows/Linux, check the corresponding application support directory.

After configuration, restart your AI assistant to load the new server configuration.

📋 Prerequisites

• ADB (Android Debug Bridge) must be installed and added to the system PATH.
  • Install ADB on Windows/Linux/Ubuntu
• Clipboard tools:
  • Windows: clip.exe
  • macOS: pbcopy
  • Linux: xclip or wl-copy
• Node.js (16.0+)

🔧 Troubleshooting

Common Issues

1. Device not connected
   • Ensure the device is connected via USB.
   • Check if the device allows debugging.
2. ADB not installed
   • Refer to the prerequisites to install ADB.
3. Permission issues
   • Run commands with administrator privileges.
4. No log output
   • Ensure the device is connected and has log output.

Solutions

1. Check if the device is correctly connected:

   adb devices
   

2. Start the ADB service:

   adb start-server

1. Clone the repository:
