A Python-based memory plugin using SQLite as the persistent storage backend.

🚀 Quick Start

This plugin offers memory storage functionality with SQLite as the backend database. Its purpose is to store and manage data across sessions persistently.

📦 Installation

Environment Configuration

Create a .env file in the project root directory with the following configuration:

MEMORY_DB_PATH=/path/to/your/memory.sqlite

You can use the provided .env.example as a template:

cp .env.example .env

Dependencies

This project requires Python and uses SQLite for data storage. Please ensure that Python is installed on your system.

📚 Configuration

Step 1

Rename .env.example to .env and edit the values as needed.

Step 2

Locate claude_desktop_config.json and add "MQTT Bridge" to the mcpServers section using the following template:

• MacOs: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
• Windows: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

Refer to the @mcp.resource and @mcp.tool decorated functions in the memory_plugin.py file.

Examples of input in the chat:

• memory://load to load saved memories at the start of a new session.
• "Save the following content to the aNewName category in memory: A new message containing important information"
• "Save the relevant key points of the conversation to the aNewName category in memory"

🔧 Development

When contributing to this project:

1. Ensure that no sensitive information is submitted.
2. Keep your .env file private.
3. Use .env.example to share the configuration template.
