The MCP server offers a standardized interface for AI agents to access OP.GG esports data. Built on TypeScript and Node.js, it directly connects to the OP.GG esports GraphQL API and formats the data in a way that is easy for AI models and agent frameworks to consume.

The current OP.GG Esports MCP Server supports the following tools:

• get-lol-matches: Scrapes and formats upcoming League of Legends match schedules on OP.GG Esports.
  • Returns match names, leagues, statuses, scores, scheduled times, and direct links to match information.
  • Provides data in a clean, structured format for easy AI consumption.

📦 Installation

Install via Smithery

Automatically install the OP.GG Esports MCP (for Claude Desktop) through Smithery:

npx -y @smithery/cli install @opgginc/esports-mcp --client claude

Install using npm/pnpm

# Install dependencies
pnpm install

# Build the project
pnpm build

🚀 Running the Server

Using pnpm

# Start the MCP server on standard input/output
pnpm start

Using Node.js directly
