📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js
• APS application credentials (must be a server-to-server type application)
• Access provisioning for ACC or BIM360

Setup

• Clone this repository.
• Install dependencies: yarn install
• Build the TypeScript code: yarn run build
• Create a .env file in the project root directory and add your APS credentials:
  • APS_CLIENT_ID - Your APS application client ID.
  • APS_CLIENT_SECRET - Your APS application client secret.
• Create a new service account: npx create-service-account ssa-test-user John Doe
  • This script will output the email of the newly created service account, along with a set of environment variables.
• Add the new environment variables to the .env file (overwriting existing variables if necessary):
  • APS_SA_ID - Your service account ID.
  • APS_SA_EMAIL - Your service account email.
  • APS_SA_KEY_ID - Your service account key ID.
  • APS_SA_PRIVATE_KEY - Your service account private key.
• Invite the service account's email as a new member to your ACC project.

💻 Usage Examples

Using with Inspector

• Run the Model Context Protocol Inspector: yarn run inspect
• Open http://localhost:5173
• Click Connect to start this MCP server and connect to it.

Using with Claude Desktop

• Ensure that Claude Desktop is installed.
• If you haven't already, create a Claude Desktop configuration file (if applicable):
  • On macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
  • On Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
• Add this MCP server to the configuration using the absolute path to the build/server.js file on your system, for example:

• Open Claude Desktop and try one of the following test prompts:
  • What ACC projects do I have access to?
