This repository contains Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools for using the Graph API, Azure REST API (via Azure CLI), and Power Platform Admin API/Dataverse API (via Power Platform CLI).

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

1. VSCode Insider version - March 2025 edition or Claude Desktop.
2. Azure CLI and Power Platform CLI installed and authenticated on your local machine if you don't use the DevContainer option.
3. Dev Container CLI if you wish to run MCP in a Dev container.
4. Docker if you wish to run the Dev container.

What is GenAIScript? 🤖

GenAIScript is a framework that enables you to communicate with AI models (even local models). GenAIScript can use MCP tools and can also run as an MCP server.

MCP is an open protocol that standardizes how applications provide context to models. By putting everything in one place, we can interact with models more easily.

📦 Installation

Install using npm

npm install -g genaiscript

Clone the repository and run

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/genaiscript.git
cd genaiscript
npm start

VSCode Configuration 🧩

Configure MCP in VSCode Insider through the .mcp.json file.

Configuration for Windows Running npx directly seems to cause issues on Windows. Therefore, we need to use cmd to start npx.
