🚀 mcp-data-wrangler: MCP Server for Data Wrangling

This is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for data wrangling, providing standardized interfaces for data preprocessing, transformation, and analysis. It enables seamless integration of data wrangling operations into the MCP ecosystem.

🚀 Quick Start

The project is not yet configured for a staging environment (e.g., for use with uvx). You can run this project locally by cloning the repository:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/mcp-data-wrangler.git
cd mcp-data-wrangler

You can start the MCP inspector via npm:

npx @modelcontextprotocol/inspector uv --directory=src/mcp_data_wrangler run mcp-data-wrangler

After starting, the inspector will display a URL. You can access this URL in your browser to start debugging.

Alternatively, add this tool as an MCP server:

📦 Installation

Local Development Setup

1. Create and activate a virtual environment:

python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate  # On Windows: .venv\Scripts\activate

2. Install the dependencies:

pip install -e ".[dev]"

3. Run the tests:

pytest -s -v tests/
