Install via Smithery

🔒 CSRF Sticky Token Handling

Jenkins uses "sticky tokens" for CSRF protection, which are tokens that must be included in POST requests. This MCP server handles CSRF sticky tokens in two ways:

1. Default Mode: Automatically obtain and include the sticky token in build requests

   • Maintain a web session using session cookies
   • Handle all CSRF protection behind the scenes

2. API Token Mode: Use Jenkins API tokens, which are not subject to CSRF protection restrictions

   • Set JENKINS_USE_API_TOKEN=true
   • Set JENKINS_PASSWORD to your API token instead of your password
   • Compatible with Jenkins 2.96+, which does not require sticky tokens for API token authentication

You can generate an API token in Jenkins: User → Configure → API Token → Add new token
