🚀 Spring MCP Bridge Tool

The Spring MCP Bridge Tool is a utility that automatically converts REST endpoints in Spring Boot applications into an MCP (Message Conversation Protocol) server, enabling MCP-compatible tools like Claude and Cursor to interact directly with your APIs.

⚠️ Important Note

The current version does not include authentication functionality. If you need to use a Spring Boot API that requires authentication, please add the corresponding headers or tokens in the processing code.

📦 Installation

# Clone the repository

# Navigate to the directory

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

1. Scan your Spring Boot project:

python spring_boot_mcp_converter.py --project /path/to/spring-project --output ./mcp_server --name MyAPI

2. Run the generated MCP server:

cd mcp_server
pip install -r requirements.txt
python main.py

3. Connect via an MCP client:
   • Configure your MCP client (Claude, Cursor, etc.) to use http://localhost:8000.
   • The MCP schema description will be available at http://localhost:8000/.well-known/mcp-schema.json.

Advanced Usage

python spring_mcp_bridge.py --project ~/projects/my-spring --output ./mcp_server --name MySpringApp

Project Configuration

Environment Variables

You can further configure the bridge tool through environment variables:
