Word MCP Server is a Python-based application that allows you to create and edit Microsoft Word documents (.docx) via API. This project uses FastMCP to build interactive tools for communicating with Word documents.

Configuration and Launch of LLM

To use Word MCP Server with a Large Language Model (LLM), you need to configure it through a JSON file:

Configuration Explanation:

• mcpServers: An object containing the configuration of each MCP server.
• word-mcp-server: The identifier of the server.
• command: The path to the Python interpreter (usually in a virtual environment).
• args: Command-line arguments, where the first argument is the path to server.py.

After startup, the server will be ready to receive instructions from the LLM.

Interaction with LLM

After successful configuration and startup, you can use the LLM to:

• Create and edit Word documents in natural language.
• Automatically generate content based on prompts.
• Intelligently format text, insert pictures, and create tables.
