🚀 Bouyomi-chan MCP Server (Node.js Version)

This server uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to provide an AI assistant with a voice reading function using Bouyomi-chan (Yukkuri Voice). It is implemented in Node.js/TypeScript.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js 16 or higher
• npm 7 or higher
• Bouyomi-chan installed
• Bouyomi-chan's HTTP cooperation running on port 50080

Steps

1. Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/uraoz/bouyomichan-mcp-nodejs.git
cd bouyomichan-mcp-nodejs

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Compile the project:

npm run build

Starting the Server

npm start

Integration with Claude for Desktop

To integrate with Claude for Desktop, you need to edit the configuration file:

1. Open the Claude for Desktop configuration file:
   • MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
   • Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
2. Add the following content (replace the path with the actual file path):

3. Restart Claude for Desktop.

Basic Usage
