This MCP server integrates with Google Drive, allowing you to list, read, and search for files, as well as perform read and write operations on Google Sheets.

Here is a step-by-step guide to configuring and using this MCP server:

1. Create a Google Cloud project.
2. Enable the Google Drive API.
3. Obtain an API key.
4. Configure project credentials.
5. Set up application permissions.
6. Configure build dependencies.
7. Initialize the service.

Tools

• gdrive_search

  • Description: Search for files in Google Drive.
  • Inputs:
    • query (string): The search query.
    • pageToken (string, optional): The token for the next page of results.
    • pageSize (number, optional): The number of results per page (maximum 100).
  • Output: Returns the names and MIME types of the matching files.

• gdrive_read_file

  • Description: Read the content of a specified file in Google Drive.
  • Inputs:
    • fileId (string): The ID of the file to read.
  • Output: Returns the content of the specified file.

• gsheets_read

  • Description: Read data from a Google Spreadsheet, supporting flexible range and format options.
  • Inputs:
    • spreadsheetId (string): The ID of the spreadsheet to read.
    • ranges (array of strings, optional): An array of ranges in A1 notation (e.g., ['Sheet1!A1:B10']). If not provided, the entire sheet is read.
    • sheetId (number, optional): The ID of the specific sheet to read. If not provided and no ranges are provided, the first sheet is read.
  • Output: Returns the specified data.

• gsheets_update_cell

  • Description: Update the value of a specific cell in a Google Spreadsheet.
  • Inputs:
    • fileId (string): The ID of the spreadsheet.
    • range (string): The cell range (e.g., 'Sheet1!A1').
    • value (string): The new cell value.
  • Output: None.
