📦 Installation

Make sure you have Python 3.10+ installed, then install the following dependencies:

Basic Usage

Use as an MCP Service in Cursor

1. Open Cursor and go to the settings.
2. Navigate to the Features > MCP Server section.
3. Click Add New MCP Server.
4. Fill in the following information:
   • Name: MCP_DOCX
   • Type: Command
   • Command: python3 /path/to/MCP_dox/server.py (Replace /path/to/MCP_dox with the actual path of server.py).
5. Click Add to add the service.

After adding the service, you can use natural language to operate Word documents in Cursor's AI assistant, for example:

• "Create a new Word document and save it to the desktop."
• "Add a third - level heading."
• "Insert a 3x4 table and fill in the data."
• "Set the second paragraph to bold and center - align it."

Test the Service

After installation, you can run the following command to test the service:

python3 server.py
