🚀 Todoist MCP Server (Python)

A Todoist MCP server written in Python, utilizing the Todoist Python API. Initially, I created this server by translating the TypeScript Todoist MCP server into Python with the help of Claude. As I experimented with using Claude for task management, I gradually modified and added features to suit my workflow.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Python 3.10+
• UV package manager (Installation Guide)
• Todoist API token

Obtaining a Todoist API Token

1. Log in to your Todoist account.
2. Navigate to Settings → Integrations.
3. Locate your API token under the "Developers" section.

Configuration with Claude Desktop

Add the following content to your claude_desktop_config.json:
