📦 Installation

Step 1: Parse User Input

The system first analyzes the user's input to determine if it contains URL-type information.

Step 2: Handle URL Types

If the input is a GitHub short link (e.g., tavily-ai/tavily-mcp), the system will automatically convert it to a full repository URL (e.g., https://github.com/tavily-ai/tavily-mcp).

Step 3: Clone the Repository

Based on the generated full URL, the system will use Git to clone the specified GitHub repository to the local environment.

Step 4: Install Dependencies

Navigate to the cloned project directory and run npm install to install all necessary dependency packages.

Step 5: Build the Project

Run npm run build to build the project and generate executable files and relevant configurations.

Step 6: Locate the index.js File

Confirm whether the index.js file was successfully generated during the build process. This file is the core entry point for the MCP service.

Step 7: Generate MCP Configuration

Automatically generate or update the MCP configuration file (e.g., mcp-config.json) according to project requirements.

Step 8: Update Settings

Integrate the MCP configuration into the system settings to ensure the service can run properly.
