📦 Installation

Requirements

• Node.js Version: Ensure your Node.js environment is v14 or higher.
• API Key: You need to obtain a Google Blogger API key for authentication.

Install from npm

npm install -g @mcproadev/blogger-mcp-server

Install from Source Code

1. Clone this repository:

   git clone https://github.com/your-repository.git
   cd your-repository
   

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install

Configuration Guide

Create a Configuration File

Create a config.ts file in the project root directory:

  BLOGGER_API_KEY: 'your_api_key_here', // Replace with your API key

};

Set Environment Variables

Make sure to set the BLOGGER_API_KEY environment variable to your key when running the service.

Usage Instructions

Start the Service

• Development Mode:

  npm run dev
  

• Production Mode:

  npm start
  

Example Commands

# Clone the repository and install dependencies
git clone https://github.com/your-repository.git
cd your-repository
npm install

# Create a configuration file and set the key
touch config.ts

Project Structure

• index.ts: The main entry point of the service.
• server.ts: The specific implementation of the MCP protocol.
• bloggerService.ts: The logic for interacting with the Google Blogger API.
• config.ts: The configuration file containing key and port settings.

Known Limitations

• Create a Blog: The Google Blogger API does not support creating new blogs via the API. You need to create blogs manually on the Blogger interface.
• Search for Posts: The API does not have a direct search endpoint. This function is implemented by filtering all posts after retrieval.
• Tag Management: The API does not provide a direct tag management endpoint. This function is implemented by parsing tags in posts.
