Tools

• read_file

  • Read the entire content of a file.
  • Input: path (string)
  • Read the entire file content using UTF-8 encoding.

• read_multiple_files

  • Read multiple files simultaneously.
  • Input: paths (array of strings)
  • Failed reads do not stop the entire operation.

• write_file

  • Create a new file or overwrite an existing file (use this feature with caution).
  • Input:
    • path (string): File path
    • content (string): File content

• edit_file

  • Perform selective editing using advanced pattern matching and formatting.
  • Features:
    • Inline and multi-line content matching
    • Whitespace normalization with indentation preservation
    • Fuzzy matching with confidence scores
    • Multiple simultaneous edits with correct positioning
    • Indent style detection and preservation
    • Git-like diff output with context
    • Preview changes using a dry-run mode
    • Debug failed matches via confidence scores
  • Input:
    • path (string): Path of the file to edit
    • edits (array): List of edit operations
      • oldText (string): Text to search for (can be a substring)
      • newText (string): New text to replace with
    • dryRun (boolean): Preview changes without applying (default: false)
    • options (object): Optional formatting settings
      • preserveIndentation (boolean): Preserve existing indentation (default: true)
      • normalizeWhitespace (boolean): Normalize whitespace characters (default: true)
  • Output:
    • Modified file content

  • Create a new directory.
  • Input: path (string)

• remove_directory

  • Delete a directory.
  • Input: path (string)

• list_directories

  • List all subdirectories.
  • Input: path (string)
  • Output: An array containing the paths of subdirectories

• rename_file

  • Rename a file.
  • Input:
    • oldPath (string): Old file path
    • newPath (string): New file path

• delete_file

  • Delete a file.
  • Input: path (string)

Basic Usage

To use this server in Claude Desktop, add the following content to the claudia.json file:
