🚀 A Simple Integration of Rust Function with MCP Client

This project demonstrates how to integrate a simple Rust function with an MCP client. It provides step - by - step instructions on code release, configuration, and usage.

🚀 Quick Start

Step 1: Publish Rust and JavaScript/TypeScript Code

Publishing

npm run build:wasm:release // Publish Rust code
npm install // Create JavaScript files and install all npm dependencies

Step 2: Claude Desktop Configuration

Create a configuration file with the following content:

Placement locations:

Step 3: Claude Desktop

Launch Claude Desktop:

Build Rust Code - Alternative Method

Using npm:

npm run build:wasm

Alternative method using wasm tools:

cd src/lib/rust-functions-lib
wasm-pack build --target bundler

Build Only TS Code (npm)

Manually Copy Rust Build Code

Steps included in npm run build:wasm:release:

Rust Import Failure

Problem:

Solution: Run npm run build:wasm:release to publish the WASM - bound factorial import dependencies.
