Basic Usage

Here are some useful tools provided by the Odoo MCP Server:

execute_method

• Function: Execute a custom method on an Odoo model.
• Input:
  • model (string): The name of the model.

📦 Installation

Python Package Installation

Running the Server

Parameter Format Instructions

When using MCP tools, please note the following parameter format guidelines:

Domain Parameters

• Supported Field Formats:
  • List format: [["field", "operator", value], ...]
  • Object format: {"conditions": [{"field": "...", "operator": "...", "value": "..."}]}
  • JSON strings of both formats.
• Examples:
  • List format: [["is_company", "=", true]]
  • Object format: {"conditions": [{"field": "date_order", "operator": ">=", "value": "2025-03-01"}]}
  • Multiple conditions: [["date_order", ">=", "2025-03-01"], ["date_order", "<=", "2025-03-31"]]

Field Parameters

• Should be an array of field names: ["name", "email", "phone"].
• The server will attempt to parse string inputs as JSON.
