📦 Installation

Install Dependencies

• Go 1.20 or higher
• Unsplash API access key

Install the Package

go get github.com/okooo5km/unsplash-mcp-server-go@latest

Quick Startup

After installation, you can directly run the server:

unsplash-mcp-server --help

📚 Configuration Guide

Environment Variable Configuration

Add the following content to settings.json:

Parameter Configuration

The server supports the following parameters:

• -h, --help: Display help information
• -v, --version: Display the version number
• -t, --transport <string>: Set the transport protocol (default: stdio)
  • stdio: Standard input/output mode, suitable for direct integration with LLMs
  • sse: Server-Sent Events mode, supporting network connections
• -p, --port <int>: Listening port in SSE mode (default: 8080)

💡 Example System Prompts

You can use the following system prompts to help Claude make better use of unsplash-mcp-server:

1. Use the search_photos tool to search for images on any topic.
2. Retrieve detailed information about a specific image using the get_photo tool.
3. Use the random_photo tool to get random images that meet the filtering criteria.
4. When a user requests images, use these tools to find relevant Unsplash images and attach the URL links.
