MacPilot CLI is an open-source tool that allows large language models (LLMs) to interact with the macOS system via the MCP (Model Control Protocol). It offers a set of system tools, enabling AI assistants to perform various operations on the macOS system.

• getCursorPosition - Get the position of the mouse cursor.
• controlMouse - Control the mouse.
• pasteText - Paste text.
• captureScreen - Capture the screen.
• shell - Execute shell commands.
• openApp - Open an application.
• listApps - List all applications.
• getWindowsInfo - Get window information.
• getWindowA11yInfo - Get window accessibility information.

🚀 Quick Start

1. You need a Mac computer with Apple Silicon, running macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or a later version.
2. Download the binary file from the Release Page.
3. Configure your MCP-compatible application (such as Cursor or Claude Desktop application) by adding the following content to the configuration file:

4. Grant the necessary permissions (screen recording, accessibility) to the application you are using. For example, if you are using Cursor, ensure that Cursor is granted the relevant permissions in the system settings.
5. Switch to a compatible tool model according to your application requirements. Now you can start using MacPilot CLI.
