🚀 MCP Server Implementation Description

This project uses a server program named mcp_server to provide MCP (possibly referring to Microsoft Common Platform or other related protocols) services. The server comes with two main tools, get_alerts and get_forecast, both located in the tools.py file.

MCP Server Overview

We are using a server program named mcp_server to provide MCP (possibly Microsoft Common Platform or other relevant protocols) services. This server has two main tools: get_alerts and get_forecast, which are located in the tools.py file.

MCP Configuration File (mcp_config.json)

This JSON file contains the configuration information required for the server to run. Specific configuration details are not provided yet, but typically it may include:

• Server IP address
• Listening port
• API key or authentication information
• Other relevant settings

Steps to Run the Dolphin Client

1. First, clone the Dolphin - MCP repository from GitHub:

   git clone https://github.com/username/dolphin-mcp.git
   

2. Install the dependencies in the project directory:

   pip3 install -e requirements.txt
   

3. Run the MCP client command:

   dolphin-mcp-cli --model gpt-4o-mini "show me weather alerts from NY city"

• Wind Speed: 10 to 15 mph from the northeast
• Forecast: Partly cloudy, with night temperatures dropping to around 33°F.
