MCP Time Php

🚀 Time MCP Server Implemented in PHP

This MCP (Model Context Protocol Server) implemented in PHP offers time retrieval and time zone conversion capabilities. The server enables LLMs to obtain current time information using IANA time zone names, perform time zone conversions, and automatically detect the system time zone.

🚀 Quick Start

📦 Installation

To install this project, run the following command:

composer install

⚙️ Configuration

MCP Server Configuration

Edit the php.ini file or create a new configuration file and add the following content:

[mcp_server]
server_class = StdioServer
server_port = 12345

Environment Variable Configuration

Set the following environment variables to customize the behavior:

• MCP_SERVER_ADDRESS: Specify the address to which the server binds, defaulting to localhost.
• MCP_SERVER_PORT: Specify the port on which the server listens, defaulting to 12345.

Get the Current Time (Using the System Time Zone)

echo "time now" | mcp-cli

Get the Time in a Specific Time Zone

echo "time now in japan" | mcp-cli

echo "what is 2pm in japan in us eastern time?" | mcp-cli
