🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Python 3.11+
• Conda (recommended)

Installation using a Conda environment

conda create -n slim-mcp python=3.11 -y
conda activate slim-mcp
pip install git+https://github.com/webdevtodayjason/slim-MCP.git

Manual Installation Steps

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/webdevtodayjason/slim-MCP.git
   cd slim-MCP
   

2. Create a virtual environment and install dependencies:

   python -m venv venv
   source venv/bin/activate  # Use `venv\Scripts\activate` on Windows
   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

🛡️ Run the Server

python server.py

Access http://localhost:5000 to use the tool.

Basic Usage

Adding a New Tool

1. Create a new tool class that inherits from BaseTool.

3. Register the tool in server.py.
