The Fubon Securities Market Data MCP (Model Communication Protocol) Server is used to obtain historical data of Taiwan stocks.

The Fubon MCP Server enables users to access historical data of Taiwan stocks. Follow the steps below to get started.

• Support historical K-line data query for Taiwan stocks and ETFs.
• Local data caching to reduce API calls.
• Automatically handle data requests for long time intervals in segments.
• Support data deduplication and sorting.
• Provide additional calculation fields (transaction value, price change, price change percentage).

📦 Installation

System Requirements

• Python 3.8 or higher.
• Fubon Securities electronic certificate.
• macOS / Linux / Windows.

Installation Steps

1. Clone the project:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/fubon-mcp-server.git
cd fubon-mcp-server

2. Create a virtual environment:

python3 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate  # macOS/Linux
# or
.venv\Scripts\activate  # Windows

3. Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

4. Set environment variables: Add the following environment variables to the .env file:

FUBON_USERNAME=Your Fubon Securities account
FUBON_PASSWORD=Your Fubon Securities password
FUBON_PFX_PATH=/path/to/your/certificate.pfx
FUBON_DATA_DIR=/path/to/your/data/directory

Basic Usage

1. Start the server:

python server.py

2. Configure MCP in VS Code: Add the following to the VS Code configuration file:
