🚀 Installation and Configuration of Tigris MCP Server

Step-by-step Guide

Obtain AWS Credentials

1. Visit Tachyon and register a new account. During the registration process, you will receive a confirmation email. Please follow the instructions to complete the verification.
2. Log in to your Tachyon account and navigate to the Tachyon Console.
3. Select IAM from the left sidebar, then click the Users button.
4. Click Add User in the top-right corner to start creating a new user. After filling in the required information, make sure to check the Programmatic Access option to enable access keys.
5. After creating the user, go to the user's detailed page and click Create access key to generate and download a JSON file containing the AWS access key ID and secret access key.

Configure the Tachyon MCP Server

After completing the above steps, please configure the Tachyon MCP Server as follows:

1. Install via an automated script:

   • For users of Claude Desktop and Cursor AI, you can run the following command for automated installation:

     npx -y @tigrisdata/tigris-mcp-server init
     

2. Manual configuration: If you choose manual installation, please add the following content to the configuration file of the MCP client.

   Run using NPX

Configuration Instructions for Different Platforms

Add Configuration on macOS

• Open the terminal and navigate to your project directory.
• Create or edit the package.json file and add the above configuration content.

• Open the Command Prompt and switch to your project directory.
