An MCP server for debugging and managing Kubernetes configurations, leveraging natural language processing technology.

This MCP server can:

1. Debug Kubernetes configuration YAML/YML files.
2. Debug an entire Kubernetes configuration folder containing YAML/YML files.
3. Connect to and manage Kubernetes clusters.

🚀 Quick Start

Step 1: Install the Claude Desktop Application

Step 2: Install this MCP Server

• Using the uv command: uv Run: uv pip install git+https://github.com/ehiaig/kubernetes-mcp-server.git Or
• Clone this repository: git clone https://github.com/ehiaig/kubernetes-mcp-server.git

Step 3: Open the Claude JSON Configuration File

• On MacOS: ~/Library/Application\ Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
• On Windows: %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json%

Add the following content to the file:

For local testing using the Claude Desktop Application:

⚠️ Important Note

Sensitive Data

Do not configure clusters containing sensitive data. This includes keys, passwords, etc. Any sensitive data exchanged with an LLM (Large Language Model) will be leaked unless the LLM runs entirely on your local machine. If you're interested in securely passing secrets to CLUSTERS, please submit an issue in this repository describing your use case.
